Don’t you just love, love? I mean, I know I’m not the only one who loves giving and receiving gifts, but Valentine’s Day is THE day. The day where you shower your beloved with gifts so they know how much they mean to you. Simple right? Wrong! Sometimes you can feel like the Beast from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, who wants to do something… but you just don’t know what.
Everyone is different and they want to make sure their gift is the gift, even spending hundreds of dollars. There are two really important things often overlooked that can make a world of difference to the receiver: Memory and Personalization
Let’s try this. Close your eyes and think about something that made you happy. Did you smile? Just the thought of that memory brought you to a happy place. That memory. I’m not sure where you are located but I am sure there are plenty of things in your city or nearby that you can do. Sip and Stroke? Wine tasting? Bed and Breakfast? Date night at home? Play? Be a tourist in your city? Camping trip where you can look at the stars? These can make lasting memories, which can never be duplicated or replaced.
What does your boo like? What’s their favorite color? Favorite food? Favorite movie(s)? You can make a personalized gift with them in mind, like a movie box, where you would incorporate all of their favorite things. What about sending them something out of the blue like a panty gram, setting the mood for later? That with a box of chocolate covered strawberries and wine would make it a night to remember.
Honestly, I can go on and on and on about different ideas for Valentine’s Day gifts but what I want you to understand is there is no perfect gift. The best gift that you can give is the gift of love.
