Restaurant Review: Grace 1720

The sun is currently shining through the window I love feeling the sun against my face. It's lunch time, my favorite time of day. The linen table cloth is a crisp, clean white. I noticed that someone took care to lightly starch the linens to perfection. As I sit here reading my new favorite book #Girlboss I overhear the women at the table in front of mine table laughing and clinking their forks against their plates. I'm taking it all in. Grace 1720 is beautiful. Not too much, not too little. It's just enough and the simplicity makes it all the more beautiful. The environment feels like home. I feel like I can let my hair down and enjoy the scenery, food, and friends.

I looked at the menu and made a decision that wasn't easy. The soup of the day is tomato basil with a grilled cheese crouton. The flavors were bursting with deliciousness and the grilled cheese crouton was the wonderful added bonus that I never expected. My waiter is so nice. He just keeps checking on me and chatting here and there. He refilled my water as well as my Prosecco. Between you and me, I have a quiet addiction to capers and crab cakes. Luckily, both of those could be satisfied. The jumbo lump crab cake was sitting on top of a mini sea of sweet caper remoulade sauce. The crab cake was seasoned to perfection and I tried to do everything but lick the plate. My bread basket allowed me to sop up the last drop of the remoulade sauce.

Now the million dollar question is. Would I recommend this restaurant to you? This should be obvious by now. It's the perfect date night, lunch with besties, or business meeting place you can find. I can't wait to go back. Checkout their menu here and be sure to tell them that sent you.
