It's time to eat and in this Dinner Conversation at SaVor V we had the pleasure of catching up with the Creators of Let's Blog Some Food. I wanted to eat their Instagram page because it looked so yummy. They are not only bloggers but they absolutely love food. If you are living in the Mumbai area or you are planning on traveling to Mumbai then they can tell you where the good eats are. Checkout my question and dinner conversation with them.

Can you tell me a little about yourself?
We are students basically & Best friends too. This blog is managed by 2 people i.e Pratiksha and Jigar (me.) We both work part time, Pratiksha is a BA Student and I am a Bartender. We are big time foodies. Whenever we have a little time from our schedule, we just move out and search for food joints around Mumbai.
The name “Let's Blog Some Food” and why did you decide to call it that?
Before we could start a blog we used to post pictures on our personal snap-chat and Facebook accounts hence, we just thought why not start a blog of our own and so we named it 'Lets Blog Some Food'.
How did you first get involved with food exploration?
Since we were very inquisitive about the new food places in our neighborhood and college, we would go and try the places ourselves. We have a lot of favorite food joints in our neighborhood in which we tried for the first time and since trying them, we still visit them quite often.
What do you find most challenging about what you do?
Amm, the most challenging part is delivering exactly the same image of the food that was served to us. While also, describing it in the best possible lay mans language so that every one out there gets an idea about how it tastes and how amazing the place is.
Tell me about some of the people you’ve met while working on your blog?
We have met chef ranveer brar who is the brand ambassador for 'Go cheese 'in india, Maria Gorreti who was sharing her food recipes and was showcased on Channel Livinfoodz, Zarine Khan who launched her Secret Recipe book, and a few more.

What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?
We work on our part time jobs in our own respective fields of education.
What type of networking do you do that you feel helps your business?
Our networking mostly is based on instagram posts, live twits so that people know what we do, where we are, while giving them live updates. We also utilize live snapchat updates of our blogging journey.
How do you keep coming up with material/content for your blog? Many people struggle with coming up with different articles/posts and they only have one blog.
We normally plan things according to a theme. For example in a month we might do 7 posts for desserts, 4 posts for Italian cuisine, 5 posts About Mumbai street food, or the most trending food in Mumbai .
What’s the best thing a blogger can give to his/her readers
Genuine content and honest reviews about the places and food.
A lot of people are interested in blogging for the money earning potential. What are some tips for people interesting in making money from blogging? What are some realistic expectations in regards to what can be made?
Try to be unique and always have new ideas flowing in. Just be yourself when you're writing a review about the place, food, and drinks. The success depends on a blogs potential, the content, number of followers, and if you can market yourself better than the other bloggers.
What has been your strategy for creating visibility to yourself and your blog?
Honestly there has never been any kind of strategy. We post the best cuisine, food, drinks from five star restaurants to what a lay man can afford for himself. We are just the foodie at the time when we review it. We definitely think like a common individual who saves his pocket money to buy food to eat and wants the most value for their money.
Name some of the foodies and bloggers whom you look up to and why?
I look up to Munchy Mumbai :- They are the ones who motivated us to come up with a blog. They post amazing mouth watering food pictures and their blog is well versed.
The other one would be Mumbai foodie because they are the one of the top blog of Mumbai. We look up to them in an effort to reach that level. Who wouldn't want to be at the top some day? These blogs are paid well for promotions because of their vast reach and strong followers.
If someone was interested in breaking into the food industry, what would be a few things you would suggest?
First, only do it if you think that people are going to love it. Stay low on your prices so everyone can afford it, and have a big big heart. Making food isn't always easy.
If a kid walked up to you asking you for your advice and you only had a few minutes to give them your “best tip” what would it be?
Be you, Be unique And Be original .
What other services do you offer and what other projects are you working on?
We also write word press reviews, handle Pr (public relations) for few cafes i.e having bloggers meet or calling up bloggers for separate reviews. Our next project is already on its way. Its our drink blog named 'Gulp It Mumbai' where we just feature the most happening drinks that are served across Mumbai.
