I love food and I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia. However, being a native San Franciscan, I am always looking for ways to immerse myself in the cultures that make San Francisco the gem that it is. This weekend was spent filled with exploring the metro Atlanta area in search of new delicacies to eat. I logged onto my Open Table account to see where I could book a reservation. After a brief scroll I saw Colbeh Persian Kitchen & Bar. Persian food has always made my heart sing due to it being full of aromatic flavors. Without hesitation, I booked a table for 1:00pm. Upon arriving I opened the door of the restaurant to find nothing less than enchantment. The dim lighting, gorgeous wood, chic decor, and the smell of the food made me more than excited.
As I was seated by the lovely Host I perused the food and drink menu. Everything sounded so good that I didn't know what to try. The Waiter helped me pick a cocktail that has now become my favorite. Named after a region in Iran, it is known as a Kerman Kooler. The Kerman cooler consists of: rum, rose water, pistachio syrup, and lime.
To eat I decided on the Shrimp kabobs that were seasoned and cooked to perfection. This entree came with a grilled tomato and basmati rice. The waiter told me to sprinkle a little sumac on my rice. The sumac helps with digestion and it also tastes great!
Did I mention that the water is served in Mason Jars? It's no secret as to why this is near and dear to my heart. Almost all of my SaVor V desserts are packaged in or baked into Mason Jars.
