The wonderful world of organization. You love being organized right? Wrong! I'll be the first to admit that I was the last person to ever be organized. However, I knew this was something that I needed to do. I was always misplacing things, losing an important document, and papers all over a room is a god awful mess. I decided I needed to get things together.
I thought to myself what could encourage me to stay organized? Then it hit me! I love nice things. When things look good I'm more prone to pay attention to it. Once I figured out what I needed to do, then I was well on my way. I love to online shop and found tons of cute laptop skins to cover my laptop. I decided upon a flower like theme so after this I went to the local grocer and found some cute colored ballpoint pens that had flowers all over them. Then the icing on the cake was my planner. I was able to find a deluxe planner on sale for 50% at Barnes and Noble. Luckily, the planner was snagged for a whopping $9.00! If you know anything about planners you know that this was a steal and it was covered in gorgeous flowers as well.
Now that my organization tools look great I love using them. Several times throughout the day I'm planning, organizing, writing, and making sure that I have the tools necessary to have an excellent day. After researching I found some information regarding the importance of remaining organized. Most of the articles I found said the same thing in different ways. To summarize it, I will leave you with the main points of why being organized is important:
- You can what you need when you need it
- When you can find what you need it saves you MONEY you won't have to buy something to replace what you lost
- Your health is better because disorganization in any area causes stress
- Continuous organization breeds efficiency. When you are efficient in your daily affairs you get more down time due to effective work flow
- Being organized and uncluttered saves time
Those are some pretty good reasons to stay organized. Try it out! I hope it works for you just as much as it works for me. Leave a comment and let me know about your progress!
